How to go to Gruyères (from Geneva): Car: For us, the best option is to go there by car, because from Geneva you may be there in an hour and a half or less. Just check online on where you could rent a car and of course your trusty GPS or Google Maps/Drive for the directions.
Train: If you are following us on Twitter you will know that we are very fond in riding trains in Switzerland because of its breathtaking view! So yes, one of the other options is to go there by train, but it might take you about three hours or less and a lot of train transfers too. If you want to know more about this you may check www.rome2rio.com for more details. Their estimation for Geneva to Gruyères is 32-110€ per person.
Bus:We are quite not sure about buses, for we never rode a bus for a long distance trip around Switzerland, but according to Rome2Rio it might take you about four hours in going there, but the estimation of the fare is around 22-37€ per person.
