The winter came already and it brought every bit of coldness in my home here in Belgium right now.
You know, I always love the end of the year and not just for the simple reasons that we can celebrate Christmas and New Year, but also because of the beautiful white topped houses and streets when it snows. Walking on the snow gives me a clear mind, on where I seem to forget about my problems, even just for a moment. I see cities turn into fairylands and buildings seem to look like movie props in my eyes with the kids just being happier on the streets with their excitement the Santa Claus will be there real soon, indeed, it's like a perfect world.
Altough, it has a downside as well, when the cars run over the snow, it turns into a dirty brown like puding that splashes everywhere. But nevertheless I am gladly taking that part along with the beauty of it all. Afterall, cold is my thing, on where you can always put a blanket around you and get comfortable or dress up warmly when going out.
By now the snow has already melted in here but we wish for more to come again very soon. And one day I'm going to build a snowman with Eena if she can find the warmth to stay outside long enough.
For now we will enjoy the views and walks and hope for more snow to fall.
